What we are all about

The Schenectady Cancer Foundation was founded by Dr. Thomas and Dr. Cynthia Goodman, Vicki Ragucci, C.P.A., Nancy Sciocietti, Esq., and others to improve the entire spectrum of cancer care in Schenectady County, New York. The Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that relies on donations and contributions in order to provide free services for residents of Schenectady County who are battling cancer.

The Scope of work being done

Every week seventeen people in Schenectady are diagnosed with cancer. The Schenectady Cancer Foundation recognizes the enormous barriers of access to cancer care. Wtih the large need for transportation, we will provide free rides, in a timely fashion, to and from cancer treatments and diagnostic centers for the patients of Schenectady County.

The Schenectady Cancer Foundation' free transportation service began August 2011 and is offered to Schenectady County cancer patients for transportation to cancer-related appointments (oncology, radiation, MRI, CAT scan, and etc...). We welcome inquiries, and appointments can be made by
